The AVC ID (Access Virtual Circuit ID) is a unique number that identifies the NBN service at your address. You’ll need it when transferring your service to a new provider.

You can find your AVC ID on a recent bill from your current NBN provider. Check these common locations:

  • At the top or bottom of the first page.
  • On the last page with the detailed service summary.

It may be labelled as ‘AVC ID‘, ‘NBN Service ID‘, or simply ‘Service ID‘.

Example monthly bill with AVC ID AVC123456789012 circled; no customer details.

Can’t find it? If you’re unable to locate the ID on your bill, the easiest way to get it is to contact your current provider and ask them for your NBN AVC ID.
