How We Can Help

When a GoTroppo account holder passes away, we can assist with:

  • Cancelling the service – We can disconnect the service promptly
  • Transferring the account – Move the service to a family member’s name
  • Waiving fees – We won’t charge early termination fees in bereavement situations
  • Final billing – We’ll work with you to ensure fair and accurate billing

What We Need From You

To process a bereavement request, please provide:

  • Account holder’s name and service address
  • Your name and relationship to the account holder
  • Your contact details (phone and email)
  • What you’d like to do – cancel or transfer the service

Note: We don’t require a death certificate or other formal documentation. We trust you during this difficult time and want to make the process as simple as possible.


Options Available

Cancel the Service

If the service is no longer needed, we can cancel it immediately. No early termination fees will apply.

  • Service disconnected promptly
  • No cancellation fees
  • Final bill sent to nominated contact

Transfer the Account

If a family member wishes to continue the service at the same address, we can transfer it to their name.

  • Service continues uninterrupted
  • Account moved to new name
  • Payment details updated

Handling Outstanding Balances

We understand that managing finances during this time can be challenging. If there are outstanding balances on the account:

  • We’ll work with the estate or family to resolve billing fairly
  • Flexible payment arrangements can be made if needed
  • We won’t pursue debt collection aggressively during the bereavement period
