Understanding Your First Invoice

At Go Troppo, we offer both weekly and monthly billing, so your account may look a little different depending on the option you choose. Weekly billing helps spread costs out, while monthly billing keeps things simple with one easy payment. Here’s what to expect and how to read each charge.

Understanding Your First Go Troppo Invoice

At Go Troppo, we keep billing simple, whether you’re on weekly or monthly payments.

The only extra cost you’ll ever see is for a modem or Static IP, if you choose to purchase one.

Your first bill may look a little different, and that’s completely normal. Here’s why:

  • Your first full billing period: Your regular weekly or monthly plan charge appears here.
  • Modem cost (if purchased): If you ordered a Go Troppo modem, the hardware cost will appear on your first bill.

After this, your bills will settle into a consistent weekly or monthly amount based on your chosen plan, simple, predictable, and easy to understand.

Breaking Down Your Invoice

Account Information

At the top of your invoice, you’ll find:

  • Account number – Your unique customer identifier (keep this handy for support)
  • Service address – The address where your NBN service is installed
  • Billing period – The dates this invoice covers
  • Due date – When payment is required ( All Direct Debit Only )

Plan Charges

Your monthly plan charge includes:

  • NBN internet access – Your chosen speed tier (e.g., Any speed available at your location and NBN type)
  • Unlimited data – All GoTroppo plans include unlimited downloads
  • Static IP – If you’ve added this to your plan
  • VoIP services – If you have a phone service with us

Understanding Pro-Rata Charges

Go Troppo has NO Pro-rata with a daily invoicing, this means the day you sign is your start date*. Only when purchasing hardware, the start date begins upon the activation notice. ( Could be up to 72 hours from signing)

Example First Invoice Breakdown

Here’s what a typical first bill might look like for a customer who connected on January 15th with an NBN 100 plan:

DescriptionExample
Amount
NBN Plan Eg; 500/50 (Monthly Jan 15th to Feb the 15th or Weekly Jan 15th to Jan 22nd)Wk: $15 Mth: $80
NBN 500/50 – Same there after each Week or Month$80.00
Modem/Router (optional purchase)$160.00
Total Due$240.00

Note: This is an example only. Your actual charges will depend on your plan, connection date, and any additional services.

What Won’t Appear on Future Invoice

After your first invoice, your regular weekly/monthly bills will be much simpler:

  • No pro-rata charges – Just your standard weekly/monthly fee
  • No setup fees – No Set up fees & No Contract
  • No hardware costs – Unless you purchase additional equipment

Your ongoing weekly/monthly invoice will simply show your plan charge plus any add-on services like VoIP.

Payment Options

GoTroppo makes it easy to pay your bill:

  • Direct debit – Set up automatic payments from your bank account or credit card (recommended)
  • Bank transfer – Direct deposit to our account
  • Apple Pay: Set up your automatic payment via Apple Pay
  • G Pay: very effective and easy way to pay

We recommend setting up direct debit to ensure you never miss a payment and avoid any service interruptions.
